John Waters is not only a genius film maker, actually he is a genius everything, my favorite part of the book is in the last chapter titled Cult Leader... He says " The only insult I've ever received in my adult life was when someone asked me,
"Do you have a hobby?" A HOBBY?! DO I LOOK LIKE A FUCKING DABBLER?! "
Perfection.
I think we should all be a lot more like John Waters and stop fucking around, and start FUCKING AROUND. I don't mean fuck anything or everything, although that might not be a bad start. I mean we should all figure out all the strange shit we are really into and start taking THAT seriously.
This book is like having a conversation with a real person, a person who knows himself better than maybe anyone else on this earth and a person who is also really hilarious. Think of it as a self help book, but it might actually help you.
