Elissa Schappell is a hottie.

Elissa Schappell is also an amazing author, her book Blueprints for Building Better girls is a collection of short stories about girls. Some are young, some are married, some are new mothers and some have children who are grown and all of them are interesting.

I am in my 20s and don't have any children, I think I want them but I almost never want to read peoples stories about having children or being a mother.I just don't think that the way people usually talk or write about being a mother is genuine or even interesting. This is not the case at all in Blueprints, Elissa Schappell is able to get to the bottom of what it is to be human and a woman. She is able to grip you so tight you feel like she is telling you secrets about your best friends.
This book actually made me cry, and laugh, a lot, I think about the woman in these books almost every day since reading this book 6 months ago. I really feel like they are real and I know them.




(also my dude and I decided the only word the girl on the cover could be saying to get mouth like that was 'FUCK', well maybe not the only word, but we think that's whats shes probably saying, so that's fun right?)
